3) Garden Railway
Where: Morris Arboretum 100 Northwestern Avenue

For those looking for a mini escape from the city, youรขโ‚ฌโ„ขre in luck! Opening Saturday, May 28th, and running through October, the Morris Arboretum is featuring a new sculpture display highlighting the regionรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs most beautiful lighthouses and local art. 4) Memorial Day at Independence Seaport Museum

On Memorial Day, everyone will be looking for the best spot to watch the fireworks at Pennรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs Landing later on in the evening beginning around 4 PM. Feel free to beat the crowd and be in the area hour before enjoy this historical presentation including a pop-up video and photo display, firing of the Spanish American War cruiser Olympiaรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs signal guns and complementary free admission to the Seaport Museum. Space is limited for this event so make sure to call ahead and confirm a reservation!

5) Living History: Meet The Patriots!
Where: New Hall Military Museum, 320 Chestnut Street

Independence National Historical Park will be hosting a live action reenactment of accounts from the American Revolution! On Saturday, May 28th, you’ll get to see a militiaman discuss his experiences during the Revolution while Sundayรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs account will come from Molly Pitcherรขโ‚ฌโ€a real gem. Each account begins at 1 PM on Saturday and Sunday. By the way, it’s free for all ages!
